Celebrating America 250 in Crawford County<\/i><\/b><\/h2>\n

The Crawford County History Alliance (CCHA) is hosting an America 250 Birthday Bash kick-off on March 1st.\u00a0 This event is the premier of the \u201cCCHA History Passport Program\u201d<\/b> and their \u201cStorytelling Banner\u201d exhibit.<\/b>\u00a0 All member organizations will be featured.<\/p>\n

At this birthday celebration all 14 member organizations will have display tables featuring special items from their organization<\/p>\n

  • Bucyrus Public Library<\/li>\n
  • Bucyrus Preservation Society (T&OC Station)<\/li>\n

  • Crestline Historical Society<\/li>\n
  • Harvey One Room School<\/li>\n
  • Galion Big Four Deport<\/li>\n
  • Galion History Center<\/li>\n
  • Lincoln Highway Association<\/li>\n
  • New Washington Historical Society<\/li>\n
  • Norton Park<\/li>\n
  • Lauretta Schimmoler Museum<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Donations gladly accepted at the door<\/b><\/h3>\n

    Items will also be for sale\u2014bring cash for most organization.\u00a0 Some vendors may accept credit cards.<\/p>\n

    Other Participating Groups<\/b><\/h3>\n

    In addition, the Citizen to Patriot Group<\/b> will also host exhibit tables, with special emphasis on the American Constitution, as well as significant US landmarks.<\/p>\n

    Castle Coin Company<\/b> will have a special exhibit, \u201c250 Years of US Coins.\u201d\u00a0 This exhibit will include an example of every US coin ever minted, with a brief explanation of what was happening historically during that particular period. Some of the coins will feature particular American symbols and there will also be colonial coins.<\/p>\n

    Cabin At Willow Hollow<\/b> will have Revolutionary-Era items will have items on sale.<\/p>\n
