Happy Birthday, America! CCHA 250 Kickoff

A Statewide Celebration
Ohio is one of the states that has very enthusiastically embraced this historical milestone!
Celebrating America 250 in Crawford County
The Crawford County History Alliance (CCHA) is hosting an America 250 Birthday Bash kick-off on March 1st. This event is the premier of the “CCHA History Passport Program” and their “Storytelling Banner” exhibit. All member organizations will be featured.
At this birthday celebration all 14 member organizations will have display tables featuring special items from their organization

Donations gladly accepted at the door
Items will also be for sale—bring cash for most organization. Some vendors may accept credit cards.
Other Participating Groups
In addition, the Citizen to Patriot Group will also host exhibit tables, with special emphasis on the American Constitution, as well as significant US landmarks.
Castle Coin Company will have a special exhibit, “250 Years of US Coins.” This exhibit will include an example of every US coin ever minted, with a brief explanation of what was happening historically during that particular period. Some of the coins will feature particular American symbols and there will also be colonial coins.
Cabin At Willow Hollow will have Revolutionary-Era items will have items on sale.
The Bucyrus Public Library has created a “Story Walk” about the Revolutionary War-Era “Liberty Tree.”
