The mission of The Bucyrus Preservation Society is to preserve the history of the city of Bucyrus and nearby community and to engender respect for that history. This goal includes restoration and preservation of physical historic sites as well as preservation of memories in the hearts and minds of local residents and visitors.

We combine our passion, knowledge, resources, and abilities in efforts to restore, preserve and maintain tangible evidence of our community’s past and the vision and craftsmanship of those who also looked toward the future. We educate the public whenever the opportunity arises and are available for group tours at the restored Toledo and Ohio Central train station located at 700 East Rensselaer St., Bucyrus, Ohio.
