As part of Ohio Open Doors, Galion’s Pioneer Log House will be open to the public on Sunday, September 13th, from 1:00–4:00 p.m.
Located in the heart of Heise Park on Jefferson Street, the Pioneer Log House offers a rare opportunity to step inside one of Galion’s earliest connections to the past.
The afternoon will begin with a dedication of a new bronze informational plaque at 1:00 p.m., followed by a rare open house where visitors can tour the restored cabin until 4:00 p.m.
Admission is free, and photos are encouraged! Whether you’re a local history enthusiast, a first-time visitor, or simply looking for a unique way to spend the afternoon, we invite you to stop by and experience this special piece of Galion’s pioneer history.
